Tested and certified quality of products and operations
VILPE’s quality culture has a long tradition within the company: we have always appreciated external and internal feedback. Our products have undergone rigorous testing and are fully certified. VILPE Oy as a company has also been granted certificates for excellent operations. Therefore, partnering with VILPE Oy means that one has selected a reliable partner, one whose products deliver as promised. Our high-quality standards allow us to offer the best warranties on the market, a technical guarantee of 20 years and a colour guarantee of 10 years, as well as a 2-year guarantee for all electrical components.
Operation quality standards
ISO 9001: The management system of VILPE Oy has been evaluated and certified in accordance with the SGS ISO 9001:2015 quality standard. This covers product development, manufacturing and sales. The ISO 9001 is globally one of the most commonly used quality management tools.
ISO 14001: The management system of VILPE has been evaluated and certified according to the SGS ISO 14001:2015 environmental standard. This covers the development, design, manufacturing and sales of VILPE products.
How we measure quality
We regularly monitor the quality of our operations by measuring and assessing the following areas:
- Customer expectations and satisfaction.
- Number of reclamations and their causes.
- Reliability of deliveries.
- Quality of internal processes.
- Financial performance.
- Employee well-being, strategy implementation and education.

Examples of product quality certificates
Our products have been granted several certificates, with some examples listed below:
VTT C164: Applicability of VILPE products for construction has been proven with product certificate VTT C164.
ETA-12/0595: Our fasteners have European Technical Approval ETA-12/0595 and a quality control certificate from the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
CE, SGS, NCS: VILPE roof fans have been granted the right to use CE marking with SGS and NCS certificates in compliance with the Low Voltage Directive.

Colour guarantee
No one wants a faded product on the façade or the roof. VILPE’s products are therefore designed to guarantee colour longevity. Since 2013 VILPE has offered an unrivaled 10-year colour guarantee, meaning they retain their colour as well as the roof or façade itself. During the years, VILPE has developed and refined a recipe which makes the colour of the products last.
In addition to colour warranty, the our products have a 20-year tehcnical warranty.
