EC200P/500 FLOW XL ROOF FAN

VILPE roof fans are designed to operate even in demanding weather conditions and are waterproof. Installation is easy, as all necessary components are included in the package. Please note: P-series products additionally require a roof pass-through selected according to the roofing material. VILPE roof fans are manufactured by a Finnish family-owned company. The products come with a 20-year technical warranty and a 10-year colour warranty, making them a long-lasting choice. Electrical components are covered by a two-year warranty.

A roof fan is suitable for ventilation renovation projects in older buildings, exhaust ventilation of apartment building stairwells, or exhaust ventilation for garages and storage facilities, for example. A combination of a cooker hood and a roof fan is an excellent choice for kitchen extraction. This is also a quieter alternative, as the operating noise of the roof fan motor, located on the roof, is not transmitted into the kitchen in the same way as with a traditional cooker hood.

VILPE EC roof fans are equipped with a brushless direct current motor (EC, electronically commutated). Thanks to the motor’s higher efficiency and optimisable control, a VILPE EC roof fan consumes 40–60% less energy than a VILPE roof fan equipped with an AC motor. See the detailed calculations.

The EC roof fan can provide a tachometer output signal that enables monitoring of the motor’s rotational speed. Thanks to this feature, EC roof fans can be connected to automated building management systems, allowing operation to be monitored and controlled through a central control unit.
