VILPE product prices increase starting May 1st

IO product

The geopolitical conflict involving Iran has significantly affected global supply chains and raw material prices.

The costs of raw materials, energy, and freight have risen rapidly and substantially. Unfortunately, we are therefore forced to increase our prices due to the general increase in costs along the entire value chain. The new price list will come into effect on May 1st, 2026. The price increases will be applied on top of the prices effective from April 1st, 2026. The increases vary by product group and are listed on the table below. A more detailed price list with product codes is available from your VILPE account manager.

In addition, we will start to charge temporary fuel surcharge starting from 1st of May 2026. The fuel surcharge will be added to the delivery fee in all deliveries excluding EXW Mustasaari deliveries. Fuel surcharge is based on the general fuel surcharge price list.

Our goal is to keep these changes as moderate as possible in this exceptional situation. We are continuously working to minimize cost impacts and ensure reliable deliveries. At VILPE, we are closely monitoring the situation, as prolonged market disruptions may affect delivery times. However, at present, our delivery times remain normal. We will inform you immediately if any changes occur.

As we see a risk of shortage in raw materials should the closure of Hormuz strait prolong and want to serve our customers as well as possible, we kindly ask you to contact your Account Manager prior to submitting any large order quantities.

If you have any questions, please contact your VILPE account manager. We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your cooperation.
