VILPE’s CS2 team playoff matches will be streamed – “We’re aiming to win and have fun”
VILPE’s esports team continues its strong performance in the Kanaliiga, the Finnish company e-sports league. In the spring 2026 season, VILPE SENSE won its regular season and is now heading into the playoffs. Playing CS2 brings together VILPE employees across the organization, with players from both production and office roles.
In the Kanaliiga Hall of Fame, VILPE ranks an impressive second place all-time. The playoffs begin next week and will be streamed on Twitch by Parvigaming. The team competes at the Prospect level, which is the third-highest division.
During the regular season, the team secured 12 wins out of 14 matches. One match was lost in regular time and one in overtime. After winning the regular season, the team heads into the playoffs with confidence.
“We’ve had a relaxed vibe throughout the season, and playing has been a fun, shared activity in our free time. We’re aiming to win and have fun,” says team captain Stefan Syring.
Syring has been part of VILPE’s team since the beginning, starting in spring 2020. At the time, he and a colleague suggested the idea to CEO Tuomas Saikkonen, and the team was quickly formed. The timing was ideal, as esports could continue during the pandemic years when many other sports could not. Since then, VILPE employees have been actively involved, and at one point the company had as many as three teams in the Kanaliiga.
