The VILPE® Solar pass-through is suitable for passing through various small pipes, e.g. solar collector pipes. The Solar pass-through range includes a solution for all roofing materials. Unlike other VILPE® pass-throughs, Solar passthroughs include a pre-attached coupling ring. Furthermore, the pass-through set includes a flange, a cover, a shrinking tube and the screws needed for installation.
The cover of a Solar pass-through is detachable, which facilitates service procedures of the pipes. The flange and the cover can be turned sideways 90 degrees to the direction of the pipes. This facilitates the installation and ensures a safe passing through. The size of the pipe hole in the front of the Solar pass-through is 100mm x 60mm.
The steel pass-through set is designed for the pass-through of profiled metal roofing. The tightness of the steel pass-through set is based on a rubber seal that has an aluminium flange at the bottom, which is moulded according to the shape of the steel. However, the steel pass-through set is not suitable for high angular profiles (see special solution, p. 17). The width of the pass-through is 460 mm and the length 355 mm.
A sealing compound, screws and a seal for underlay are included in the steel pass-through set.
